Paramount+ Series Landman

Landman, adapted from the podcast Boomtown, unfolds in West Texas, delving into the realm of oil rigs. The series is described as an “upstairs/downstairs story of roughnecks and wildcat billionaires fueling a boom so big, it’s reshaping our climate, our economy, and our geopolitics.”

Kayla Wallace takes on the role of Rebecca Savage, an adept and formidable liability attorney dispatched to West Texas to rectify a mess. James Jordan embodies Dale Bradley, a petroleum engineer and blue-collar figure managing roughnecks, and Mark Collie portrays Sheriff Joeberg, the quintessential West Texas sheriff.

Paulina Chávez steps into the character of Ariana, a young mother facing family misfortune.

The star-studded cast underscores the series’ commitment to delivering a compelling narrative set against the backdrop of the oil fields. Landman is co-created and executive produced by Taylor Sheridan and Christian Wallace, featuring an ensemble of talented actors.

The series is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios, with Sheridan’s Bosque Ranch Productions at the helm, reflecting Paramount Global’s continued investment in engaging content.
