Best VPNs to watch Star Trek: Prodigy from anywhere

ExpressVPN has always been a top choice when it comes to streaming. In our recent test, we found ExpressVPN has outperformed all other VPN in terms of Speed.

Thanks to the huge content library such as major shows like YellowStone and sports events in the months of November and December 2022, ExpressVPN has put extra emphasis to optimize Paramount+ for their subscribers. In our check, we test 7 parameters such as:

  • Ability to unblock US library of Paramount+
  • Streaming Speed
  • UTB (Unable to browse)
  • UTC (Unable to connect)
  • Performance on Apps
  • Performance on Routers and Devices
  • Security

In our attempts, we attempted 9 times a day and found UTC (Unable to connect) only 1 time that too on Windows PC. It connects perfectly fine on the rest of the devices such as Android TV, Firestick 4K, iOS and router. Thanks to their huge list of physical servers in the USA that too with residential nodes which makes it impossible to trace your original location.

Express Servers in USA: Albuquerque, Denver, Lincoln Park, Log Angeles, Miami, New Jersey, New York, Phoenix Salt, Lake City, San Francisco, Santa, Monica, Seattle, Tampa - 1, Washington DC, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas

Recommended USA servers for Paramount plus: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago.

In terms of speed, we didn't notice any significant drop in speed. Suppose, our base speed was 100Mbps from Tasmania, Australia and we connect to New York servers from their Lightway protocol. We tested the speed on Fast.com and found the degradation up to 2 - 5% only. However, when I tried the Chicago server from the same destination, the degradation increased to 10%. This is still far under the line, considering the fact, some other VPNs dropped the speed up to 80%. This is a super important factor as most of the content on Paramount plus is available in 4K and using ExpressVPN you will be able to enjoy content in amazing video quality.

Security: The biggest headache using VPN is ISP throttling where all VPNs raise their hand as it's something which is not in their control. However, surprisingly that's not the case with ExpressVPN. Their security and privacy infrastructure is so optimized that you will never ever experience such issues and that your privacy (real location) will never be compromised.

Pros:

  • Top-rated VPN for all streaming platforms
  • High quality video content
  • Works flawlessly on Android TV for Paramount Plus
  • Performed well in speed when it comes to accessing Paramount Plus content in Australia, UK and Canada

Cons:

  • Expensive

PureVPN guarantees the best browsing and streaming experience for Paramount Plus. After extensive testing, we concluded that PureVPN is the specialized VPN for Paramount+ and Peacock TV.

We tested many VPNs for Peacock TV, and the reason PureVPN took a lead is its proxy-based Chrome extension. It works smoothly and streams Paramount+ with a single click.

The other positive for PureVPN is their diversified servers in different locations and countries. This makes it possible for us to access Paramount+ regional content in Australia and the UK.
