Recap: Significant moments from Coronation Street series 63 so far
Series 63 started with Faye Windass hitting Ted Spear with her car partly due to her poor driving skills and partly due to drinking. Even though Spear was fine at that moment, he, later on, dies in his own apartment. Windass decides not to tell anybody. Meanwhile, Tim goes through surgery for his triple heart bypass while David Platt opens up about his sexual harassment incident to his son. Faye’s boyfriend Craig removes all evidence to protect Faye. Amy Barlow collapses after someone spikes something in her drink. Lydia chambers put the blame on Adam Barlow which gets him arrested.
Moving on, Lydia throws Adam from a balcony in midst of a heated argument. Sarah Barlow serves justice to Adam by getting Lydia arrested however, she manages to escape when Adam lies on her behalf claiming he fell and wasn’t pushed. Faye gets pregnant. Meanwhile, Laura takes the blame for murdering Rick. The story moves forward with Faye being taken to the hospital due to stomach pain after she tells Jon Spear about his granddad. Laura dies due to stomach cancer while Emma moves to Australia to turn over a leaf with her boyfriend Jon Spear.
Max reveals that he mixed something in Amy’s drink although it was aimed at Daniel. Turns out, Faye gets premature menopause and Imran wins full custody of Alfie. Phil puts a ring on Fiz’s finger, promising to be together forever. However, Imran and Toyah get into a car crash and Imran dies on the spot. A flashback is shown in which it is revealed that the two were arguing before Toyah purposely crashed the car.
Cathay and Brian get engaged but eventually split when Brian finds out Cathy kissed someone else. Kevin and Molly’s secret affair gets exposed and Max sends a nude to Sonya, later getting catfished for money and Sonya turning out to be fake. After Fiz and Phil tie the knot, Fiz leaves him because she is still in love with her ex.
Kelly and Aadi get engaged. James gets cardiomyopathy and Toyah finally tells Spider and Leanne that he crashed the car on purpose, admitting to murder, and turning himself in. Stephen kills Leo to avenge his father’s death and finally, Summer and Aaron get pregnant.
