Breaking the bank for a slice of TV history! A die-hard fan of ‘The Sopranos‘ just forked out a jaw-dropping $82,600 for the legendary booth from the series’ iconic 2007 finale.

Holsten’s, the NJ ice cream parlor immortalized as the backdrop for Tony Soprano’s last meal, decided to part ways with this cherished piece of memorabilia. The 88-year-old establishment, currently undergoing renovations, auctioned off the booth on eBay, and the bidding war didn’t disappoint, closing at the staggering final sum.

The winning bidder not only snags the table and seats but also the coveted divider wall, featuring a plaque that reads, “This booth reserved for the Soprano family.” Unfortunately, the tabletop jukebox seen in the memorable scene did not make the cut.

Holsten’s, breaking the news on Instagram, expressed mixed feelings about the sale, citing the need for an upgrade and the structural concerns of the aging furniture.

Owner Chris Carley, in a chat with the New York Post, revealed the parlor’s ongoing popularity among Sopranos enthusiasts. Despite the passage of 17 years since the series finale, fans still flock to the site, eager to capture a piece of the show’s legacy.

The Sopranos finale, aired on June 10, 2007, left viewers in suspense as the screen famously faded to black in the midst of a diner scene. Now, with the sale of this iconic booth, a lucky bidder holds a tangible slice of television history. The legacy lives on, one auction at a time.
