Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson travelled all the way to London to attend Queen’s Platinum Jubilee just to be turned down by Buckingham Palace authorities.
Kim Kardashian arrived in the UK earlier this week with beau Pete Davidson and instantly sent out a ticket request. According to the Daily Mail, the American couple was turned down by the palace but Kim is so eager to attend the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebration that she doesn’t mind if they aren’t “VIP.”
A source said,
Kim rarely gets turned down to attend any event, so this has been quite surprising, especially as she doesn’t visit the UK often. Kim and Pete love the Royal Family and really wanted to be a part of this special celebration.
At that time, it’s unknown whether the couple’s travel to London was only for the jubilee celebrations. Davidson and Kardashian went jewelry shopping in London’s Mayfair neighborhood on Tuesday before having a low-key date night at the River Cafe.
Queen’s Platinum Jubilee will feature performances by Queen, Diana Ross, and Nile Rodgers, as well as visits by Sir David Attenborough and David Beckham. A public ballot was used to distribute 10,000 tickets, with 7,500 going to key workers, members of the armed forces, volunteers, and charity.
Trooping the Colour – The Queen’s Birthday Parade – commenced on Thursday, followed by the lighting of the Platinum Jubilee beacons. Today, there will be a National Thanksgiving Service at St Paul’s Cathedral, which the Queen will skip owing to “some pain.” Her Majesty the Queen will attend the Epsom Downs Derby on Saturday before the Platinum Party at the Palace. On Sunday, the Big Jubilee Lunch and the Platinum Jubilee Pageant will conclude the four-day celebrations.
