Michael Cimino, the star of Love, Victor, talks about Victor’s decision and his views about how the series will conclude.
Love, Victor returns for its third and last season. Season 2 ended on the biggest cliffhanger: who did Victor pick? According to Michael Cimino, viewers will find out “right away” if Victor turned up at Benji or Rahim’s door.
While Victor’s choice has been a surprise to viewers, Michael has claimed that he has known who Victor would select from season 2. He also mentioned that there would be some unexpected twists and turns. These plot twists will, however, lead up to the series conclusion. He also stated that he is eventually happy with the show’s conclusion.
I mean, I wish that we maybe had some more time with the characters and whatever else, but I am happy with how it ends. I think that I’d rather end on a note where we all know it’s ending versus it just being swept out from under our feet.
When discussing Victor, Michael stated that the character would go through his own journey in these last episodes.
This season, Victor’s very much learning how to embrace who he is and applying the lessons that he’s learned over the past few seasons. It’s like, Victor’s learned how to accept who he is. He’s learned how to kind of stick up for himself, and now he’s applying those lessons to his life, not just like with his family or in these bubbles that were surrounding him before, but in different situations that he might not have known how to navigate prior.
The final season of American teen comedy drama is releasing on June 15 and will be available to watch on Hulu.
