The key image for Mayor of Kingstown Season 2 has been redesigned by Paramount+ out of respect for Jeremy Renner’s recent plowing accident.

The season’s first poster was made public weeks before Renner’s accident and it featured the star with a bloodied face. However, lately when the actor posted a picture of himself with real bruises, Paramount decided to change the poster with respect to the star’s recent accident and made an image with no blood on his face. Below is the original poster. The change is minor, yet clearly noticeable to Renner’s fandom.

On January 1 in Washoe County, Nevada, Renner used a snowplow to rescue a family member who was stranded in his car and suffered blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries. As per Washoe County Sheriff Darin Balaa, “an extremely large piece of snow removal equipment weighing at least 14,330 pounds” ran over the star while he attempted to enter the vehicle.

However, after intensive care and love, the actor is up and running and even posted a tweet saying he is all well and watching the Mayor of Kingstown season 2 with his family.

Mayor of Kingstown is available to watch on Paramount+.
