Margot Robbie, according to Ryan Gosling left a pink present with a pink bow, from Barbie to Ken, everyday while we were filming.

He told Vogue said Robbie did small things to help him get comfortable with the role of Ken, ” She left a pink present with a pink bow, from Barbie to Ken, every day while we were filming. They were all beach-related. Like puka shells, or a sign that says ‘Pray for surf.’ Because Ken’s job is just beach. I’ve never quite figured out what that means. But I felt like she was trying to help Ken understand, through these gifts that she was giving.”

Gosling says that Ken wasn’t really on his bucket list. “But in fairness, I don’t have a bucket list. So I thought I’d give it a shot.” While Robbie thinks that Ken is the “greatest version of Ryan Gosling ever put on screen.”

In other news, it is revealed that 1923 star Helen Mirren’s voiceover in the movie says that, “Barbie has a great day every day. Ken only has a great day if Barbie looks at him.”

With three days of further filming left, the Barbie cut is nearing completion.

They’re now working on the second trailer. The movie will play at theatres on July 21st.
