Prepare for some slam-dunking fun as Josh Brolin, the star of ‘Dune 2,’ gears up to host Saturday Night Live (SNL) for the third time this weekend. The actor, known for his roles in Marvel, including the iconic villain Thanos, showcased his basketball skills in a lively SNL promo released ahead of the upcoming episode, where he will be joined by musical guest Ariana Grande.

In the teaser, Brolin stumbles upon SNL featured players Molly Kearney and Devon Walker engaged in a friendly one-on-one basketball game in Studio 8H.

However, Brolin, true to his Marvel persona, isn’t there for a casual match. He takes the court by storm, channeling the spirit of basketball legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and injecting a dose of Thanos flair.

After dominating the game, Brolin exclaims, “Anything’s possible!” while dousing himself with a bottle of orange Gatorade, adding a touch of humor by spitting it out. As Kearney and Walker catch their breath, Brolin, recognizing his enthusiasm, apologizes, saying, “I’m sorry, I’m just excited to be here. This is going to be a fun week for sure.”

This SNL hosting stint marks Brolin’s return after 12 years, with his last appearance dating back to April 2012.

Currently gracing the big screen in ‘Dune: Part Two,’ which enjoyed a strong opening at the box office, Brolin is set to bring his charisma and humor to the SNL stage once again. Get ready for a weekend of laughs and memorable moments with Josh Brolin.
