A female tennis player from Italy, Camila Giorgi is presumably under investigation after using allegedly fraudulent Covid vaccination records. The Australian Open, which was overwhelmed by Novak Djokovic’s Covid status and visa mishap last year, is accompanied by it.

The buildup may be ruined once more due to allegations that Camila Giorgi, a Wimbledon quarterfinalist in 2018, used totally fake paperwork.

The doctor for the 31-year family, old’s Daniela Grillone was detained in February of last year. She has since been accused of providing fake supplements and paperwork to prominent Italians.

Giorgi was reportedly under police investigation last month for using a fake Covid vaccination certificate, according to the Italian newspaper La Repubblica.

In a shocking turn of events, Grillone recently claimed in an interview that the tennis player had never received the vaccine. “I’ve been treating the Giorgi family for a very long time.

“Camila Giorgi suffered from the so-called tennis elbow. Shortly before the beginning of summer, she had come asking for the possibility of obtaining false attestations of all the mandatory vaccines, as well as the Covid vaccine.

“I can confirm with absolute certainty that none of the vaccines against the Giorgi family have actually been administered. I have not received any payment in that case.”

Giorgi started her 2023 campaign at the Adelaide International 2 on Saturday, losing in the qualifiers. This year’s Covid rules in Australia have been relaxed. She will, however, be a main-draw participant in the Melbourne Park Grand Slam the following week.

Due to privacy laws, a representative for the Australian Department of Home Affairs declined to confirm whether authorities were looking into Giorgi’s case.
