Florence Pugh limits promotional press for ‘Don’t Worry Darling’

Florence Pugh has limited her promotional press for upcoming Olivia Wilde’s Don’t Worry Darling and will only show up for Venice Film Festival.

According to TheWrap, Pugh’s spokesperson declined to comment on any further promotional plans for the actress other than attending the film festival, since she will be heading from the set of Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part Two.

A studio executive says, “She’ll be doing greetings for us from the set of ‘Dune’ because she’s not doing press.”

According to the executive, the studio anticipated that Pugh’s presence for the Don’t Worry Darling press tour would be restricted, given that Dune 2 is also a Warner Bros. production, and prepared accordingly.

However, Pugh’s odd lack of engagement in the film’s promotion hints that there may be reality to reports of a conflict between Florence Pugh and Olivia Wilde over her relationship with co-star Harry Styles and an alleged affair on site.

Don’t Worry Darling will be released on 23rd September.
