Ezra Miller has reportedly been pulled from future DC projects, however the studio has claimed to have been planning to release The Flash with them as the protagonist.

Following Miller’s questionable behavior, fans have been demanding for them to be replaced in the solo The Flash film and other future ventures. A restraining order was issued against Miller amid allegations that he groomed a 12-year-old and threatened the child’s mother with a pistol after accusing her of cultural appropriation.

Even though it is unknown whether The Flash will be recast for future projects, some fans have rushed to Twitter to cast The Umbrella Academy‘s Elliot Page in the role.

Some DC fans, however, argue that they do not want Page to portray the superhero Flash. They took to Twitter to show their frustration and claim that neither actor looks like the comic version.

After Ben Affleck stepped down as Batman, and the second Wonder Woman film flopped and had bad reviews in comparison to previous films, Ezra Miller was recruited to assist lead the DCEU. Robert Pattinson had a hit with The Batman, but it’s not situated in the main DCEU, so he’s unlikely to feature.

The Flash will include Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck reprising their roles as separate incarnations of Batman, thus Warner Bros. is unlikely to cancel the project owing to their high-profile involvement.

Miller’s actions prompted a panic meeting with Warner Bros officials, who opted to delay The Flash‘s release until 2023.
