Chrissy Teigen’s show ‘Chrissy’s Court’ gets renewed for third season

Chrissy Teigen will be seen wearing her judge’s robes once more for season three of Chrissy’s Court, which will premiere exclusively on the Roku Channel this fall.

Roku granted permission for a third season of the courtroom drama after season two of Chrissy’s Court became the most-watched unscripted Roku original launched to date.

In a statement Teigen expressed her enthusiasm over the third season, “The cases in Season 3 of ‘Chrissy’s Court’ are wilder, the people are more fun than ever, and no claim is too petty for my courtroom. Mom and I can’t wait to bring the all-new season to audiences this October exclusively on The Roku Channel.”

Judge Chrissy hears one small-claims case in each episode. Teigen’s rulings are final and binding on the plaintiffs, defendants, and disputes. Pepper Thai, Teigen’s mother, plays the “bailiff” who keeps discipline in the court.

During its first weekend on the Roku Channel in the United States, the second season of Chrissy’s Court received more unique perspectives than any previous unscripted Roku original debut. During that time, the series was also the Roku Channel’s No. 1 VOD show in the United States in terms of total views.

Teigen, Luke Dillon, Jane Lipsitz, Dan Cutforth, Dan Volpe, and Mason Steinberg serve as executive producers. Teigen’s Suit & Thai Productions, 3 Arts Entertainment, and Alfred Street Industries are behind the show’s production.

Roku’s head of alternative originals, Brian Tannenbaum, also showed excitement about the upcoming season. “We are thrilled with the record-breaking performance of ‘Chrissy’s Court,’ and we look forward to an entire new season of Chrissy’s wit and charm as she presides over the courtroom. It’s incredible to see Roku originals continue to resonate with our streamers in such a profound way with standout unscripted programming on the Roku Channel.”

On October 21, Chrissy’s Court will return for a 10-episode third season.
