Chloe Bennet has exited the network’s live-action Powerpuff Girls series. Chloe gained popularity from starring in The Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. show. She was cast as Blossom who is one of the main characters of the show and is considered the team leader of the three girls.
Powerpuff series is based on the Cartoon Network animated series. The show’s pilot was shot and developed but CW didn’t like the pilot and decided to reshoot it. Warner Bros. TV, the studio, called the actors again to check the cast’s availability for the reshoot but unfortunately, Chloe Bennet was scheduled for other projects and couldn’t sign on the project and ultimately had to step away from the show. Dove Cameron (Bubbles) and Yana Perrault (Buttercup) are still attached to the Powerpuff series, and casting for the role of Blossom is expected to begin in the fall.

Powerpuff Plot
The show promises to show a grown-up take on The Powerpuff Girls. The series starts when the girls are in their twenty’s and are disillusioned. They resent the fact that their childhood was ruined because of the crime fighting and they must decide whether they should continue to be heroes especially when “the world needs them more than ever.”
