What is this Christmas Special about?

Presented for the first time by an Irish comedian, Roy Walker, and later by other presenters, Catchphrase is a British game-show. Steve Radosh is the creator of the show, whereas Marty Pasetta produced it. The game show consists of two transmissions, Original and Revival (which is further categorized into Regular and Celebrity series).

In the Celebrity segment, three celebrities have to play the series for their chosen charity. Stephen Mulhern along with Davina McCall, Jo Brand, and Jarvis Cocker will host the game show’s Christmas Special edition.

What is the format of this Christmas Special? 

The show follows 6 fun-filled rounds: Main game, Qualifying round, Normal Catchphrase, Bonus Catchphrase, Quickfire Round, and Super Catchphrase. In the updated version of the show, three contestants play the game regardless of gender.

In this Christmas Special edition, the celebrities have to guess the phrases from the clues animated and if they guess it right, they can win £50,000 for the chosen charity.
