Over the course of three fun rounds, players try to guess well-known popular songs from history. They will be graded on how well they can identify songs from all musical genres. The rounds of the entertaining game show are:
Round One
A few selected clips from hit songs are played for the teams and they must press the buzzer when they identify the song. In this round, the played songs are based on a theme, so the contestants may have to identify two songs from the same singer or remember which one was at the second place in the charts. They must prove their memory of music to answer as quickly as possible. The first two teams whose 5 answers are correct, will qualify this round.
Round Two
The beginning notes of the songs are played in this round, and the last two teams have 45 seconds to name as many song titles and performers as they can. They are provided with some visual cues to help them, like a map showing the singer’s hometown or a photo of a well-known person whose name appears in the song’s lyrics. Each team must complete the project before the given time runs out. The first team to fail to finish the job within the allocated time will be eliminated, and one team will move on to the Final round.
Round Three – The Final Chart Rundown
Before losing a certain amount of money, the winning team in The Final Chart Rundown is required to list the top ten songs and artists. After the first five seconds of each track, the participants will each have £10,000 in their pot, but after that, the money will start to evaporate at a rate of £100 per second. The team that correctly identifies ten song titles and artists wins the remaining sum of money before it is forfeited. They will be left with nothing if they don’t.
