Peacock, NBCUniversal’s streaming service, is still a newcomer to the streaming scene. However, it has already produced some excellent, unique stuff. With so many streaming platforms to choose from, we thought we’d make it simple for you by recommending the finest Peacock original series available right now. Peacock functions similarly to other streaming services, however it is exclusively available in the United States. You just log in or launch the app on your phone, then choose the item you want to view.

It may seem weird to discuss if Peacock is worth a subscription when there is a free version that everyone may watch endlessly. However, with so many streaming alternatives accessible nowadays, the ultimate cost is not only the membership money but also your time.

Original content has become one of the most effective methods for streaming services to differentiate themselves from the competition. Licensed titles come and go, and they may be accessible in the library of a rival. Original programs and films, such as Netflix’s The Crown or Disney Plus’ The Mandalorian, may help you develop a brand.

  1. Punky Brewster:
best-peacock-tv-original-movies

Genre: Sitcom

Revivals and reboots are as popular as streaming services these days, so it’s no wonder that Peacock has launched its revivals and reboots. Peacock attempted to recreate the 1980s comedy Punky Brewster this year, but it failed miserably, as it was canceled after one season.

Punky Brewster is a youngster whose parents have abandoned her. Punky and her puppy, Brandon, are taken in by crusty Chicago photographer Henry Warnimont and show him how to have fun. Punky has two buddies, Cherie and Allen. Former NBC executive Brandon Tartikoff named the main character after a girl he remembers from his youth.

In the year 2021, Punky (Soleil Noon Fyre) is an adult who is now a single mother with three children. Punky meets, befriends, and ends up fostering a little girl who reminds her a lot of herself as she struggles to balance her own crazy life.

  1. The Lost Symbol:
best-peacock-tv-original-movies

Genre: Mystery, Thriller, Adventure fiction, Action fiction

To save his abducted mentor and foil a terrifying worldwide conspiracy, a young Harvard symbologist must solve a series of deadly puzzles.

Fans of Dan Brown’s The Da Vinci Code and its film version are unlikely to be persuaded to attempt The Lost Symbol. The revamped series follows symbologist Robert Langdon as he attempts to rescue and return his abducted mentor. To stay one step ahead of the CIA, he has to decipher a sequence of cryptic clues.

When Peacock announced the Dan Brown franchise revival, I was suspicious. However, The Lost Symbol provides a refreshingly different view of a world that looked to be neatly wound up. It’s one of Peacock’s greatest original shows.
