Dash & Lily

The novel Dash & Lily, which is adapted from a young adult series written by David Levithan and Rachel Cohn, is, without a doubt, a story about Christmas, but it is also a story about teen love. Joe Tracz created the series, and it follows a Christmas-obsessed young woman named Lily (played by Midori Francis) and a miserly boy named Dash. Unfortunately, there is only one show season, but it is surprisingly charming (Austin Abrams).

The two get to know one another while writing letters to one another in a journal that they trade. These letters are exchanged at the famous bookstore The Strand in New York City. As the two begin to develop romantic feelings for one another through their correspondence, the tension mounts until the moment when they unexpectedly run into each other at a party. Catch this series if you’ve just completed seeing Euphoria, and you were blown away by Austin Abrams’ performance on that East Highland stage. It’s a charming romantic comedy appropriate for any time of year, not just the winter holidays.

She is terrified of breaking the news to her devout family, and she must also adjust to the life of a young mother. Romance is, without a doubt, one of the most significant.

Grace and Frankie (2015)

It’s a predicament that nobody ever wants to find themselves in, but especially not when they’re in their 70s. But alas, Grace and Frankie find out when they are in the golden years of their lives that their husbands and business partners are actually gay and have been secretly in a relationship with one another for more than 30 years. This information comes to light while they are in the golden years of their lives. This is the tale of two ladies who are very different from one another, attempting to restart their lives at an older age, depending on one another for support, and rekindle that romantic spark by dating again. Both of these women are hoping to find love again. Warning: this sentence contains a spoiler. They are successful on all fronts, presenting an intriguing look at romance at an age when some people would consider these ladies to be far beyond their primes.
